 | FAQWhat is the deadline to enter the SAMMY Awards? All entries must be received by August 14, 2009. How Do I Enter? Click on the "Enter" tab above and fill in all required fields. Please fill out all the information and make sure it is accurate as we will use this information to etch the awards How Do I Pay for My Entry? At the end of the entry process you can pay by credit card. We accept MasterCard, Visa, and American Express. The system will automatically charge your credit card. We will send you an email confirmation once the charge has been processed.
Can I Cancel My Entry? Will I Get a Refund? You may cancel your entry by sending an email to lou@dm2media.com. However, you will not receive a refund as entries are reviewed at any point following submission.
How Do I Know if You've Received My Entry? You will see a confirmation web page after you click submit noting your entry has been collected and will also receive a confirmation email acknowledging receipt of your entry. If you do not receive an email confirmation within twenty four hours, please email lou@dm2media.com .
How Can I Change My Entry? The following information can be changed on an entry at any time by contacting lou@dm2media.com

Can You Be Outside the United States to Participate? The SAMMY Awards are open to entries worldwide. The SAMMY awards are a global award.
Who are The Judges for The Competition? The SAMMY Awards are selected by our esteemed judging committee of leading social media and marketing experts, journalists, insiders, marketers, publishers, and social technology visionaries.
Can You Explain How The Campaigns are Judged? All entries are screened by our judging committee and then winnowed down to a list of 3 finalists. The campaign brief and any and all creative, web, and video entries will be to viewed by the judges to make sure the entry is evaluated for the medium. The judges are sequestered prior to the event and select the winners during a round table session.

Which Category Should I Enter? The SAMMY Awards has multiple categories to choose from and are listed below. We developed categories that best fit the growing business of social media and marketing and that will fit the ongoing efforts out in the field. There can be overlap in some of the categories and it is up to the entrant to choose which is most appropriate for that particular entry. An entry can be entered into multiple categories. If work is entered in multiple categories, it may win multiple times.

Can I Enter More Than One Category? Yes. Entrants may enter multiple categories as you see fit. This also increasing your chances of winning a category. The competition allows winners in multiple categories.
Award Winners
How Many Entrants Win a SAMMY Award? For each of the categories, the judges will select three finalists which represent the best in the category. Out of the finalists, one (1) winner will be selected and will win a SAMMY Award in the category.
What Do I Get If I Win a SAMMY Award? The SAMMY winners will receive a SAMMY Award to for display. Winners will be able to order additional awards for fee after the gala through lou@dm2media.com. All awards will be etched with the winning company name. Please be sure to provide accurate information upon entering. Winners will also be announced in our publication digiday:DAILY as well as on our award website.
